On Thursday, January 9, 2020, we had our January monthly meeting hosted by the Bensalem Country Club that we like to call our “Meeting with our Mayor”.
Every year we start off with Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo as our guest speaker, to hear from the man we voted into office to run Bensalem since 1994.
As a former Bensalem business owner and a man who was born right here in a house off State Rd., he has spent his whole life here in Bensalem and loves this community. To listen to him speak about its past and its future is truly amazing. He not only fills us with information about our community but answers every single question members have before he ends his talk. He has been a guest speaker many times and every time he fills the room as members love to hear from him.
We also gave two members — Joseph Tryon from Quaint Oak Bank in Southampton PA and William Reinsfelder from Will’s Roadside Service — both a Plaque of Appreciation for all their help they’ve given us in 2019.
Bensalem Country Club Hosted this monthly meeting and Toni Nespola did an amazing job. From the servers to the food to the alcohol and drinks was all perfect. It is the reason we use the Bensalem Country Club for our Annual Holiday Dinner each year as we are never disappointed.
We had over 60 attend this meeting. Kyle Ober’s pictures are already posted on our Facebook Page so you can check them out there. They are also posted HERE. Please comment, like and share them with others.
Our next monthly meeting will be on Thursday, February 13th, 12 noon, at Holy Ghost Prep School, 2429 Bristol Pike, Bensalem PA. Greg Geruson, Pres. Of Holy Ghost, will be the guest speaker and will have a tour of the school.
The year has started and dues are up so please send in your $120 to help me keep our organization running. All new members are FREE and if you paid before the year ended we only charge $60. After the year started the regular price for membership is $120.
